Jacob Courtney is a UK based illustrator, artist, and animator. He graduated from Cardiff School of Art and Design with a BA in Illustration in 2017, before going on to study MA Visual Communication: Illustration at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2021.

His practice incorporates both traditional and digital media, often creating work with a strong sense of place and atmosphere, sometimes with qualities of the uncanny. He has created work for The Big Issue, Breathe Magazine, London Transport Museum, The Foundling Museum, Firewords, Shelf Heroes, and AWW Magazine, and his work has been featured in online magazines such as Creative Boom and Porridge Magazine.
